Stay away from our wildlife. This creature and so many others do not deserve to die for the public’s photographic selfie pleasures. The man was sitting on the side of the road taking still photos, and the elk approached him. It’s not his fault, it’s the fault of the people that were feeding this elk making him comfortable enough to approach humans. That’s why the elk was put down, he did not respond to reconditioning and was becoming a danger to humans. Read the whole story instead of blaming this man. I don’t get it why couldn’t have they just put the elk n some kind of sanctuary instead.
